FAQ
DIY TOOTH GEM KIT FAQ
How long will my gems last?
Your DIY Tooth Gems will last anywhere from the time of application up until 2 weeks. Try to avoid playing with your gem too much after application to help it last longer!
Tips:
- Try to keep your tooth as dry as possible throughout the application process
- Avoid getting glue on top of your gem during application to ensure it sparkles!
- Chew on the opposite side of your gem & brush teeth lightly
- To help your gem last longer, refrain from eating or drinking anything besides water for an hour after application
Remember, Tooth Gems are a temporary accessory. They can last anywhere up to 2 weeks, depending on your oral hygiene routine, mouth acidity levels and lifestyle choices.
If you would like your gems to last longer than 2 weeks we encourage you to visit us at our studio based in Fitzroy, Melbourne (Naarm) for semi-permanent gem application.
Are tooth gems harmful?
No! Application of your Tooth Gems is a pain-free process. Additionally, our Tooth Gems are 100% lead free Swarovski Crystals applied with dental grade tooth gem adhesive.
How do I take off my gems?
If you would like to remove your Tooth Gem before it has naturally fallen off, you can lightly pick at it or use dental floss to pop it off.
There is no harm to your teeth if your gem remains on past the 2 week period.
Do you offer refunds or returns?
Due to the nature of our DIY Kits we cannot accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. All sales are final.
